So you know a little bit about what affiliate marketing is - now you’re itching to get started! Well, you’ll need a few things first. These include:

A domain name

The space where you will store your pages. You may want to see if they offer database storage, since as you become more advanced you will probably need a database to store your products. You can sign up for affiliate programs in a number of places, including Commission Junction and LinkShare.com, as well as independent programs from places like Amazon. Explore to find what works best and fits your market. You could also sign up for Google’s Adsense (see the sidebar on this page!)
